My works- The brothers three

PRE-PRINTED
So in the current project, we worked with already printed images.
I worked with map...
I thought it would be the best image to work with to create a narrative
to continue what we were working on in print...
I knew what i wanted to achieve when i printed onto the maps
So these are the ones that i scanned in

This is the one i like most and took the longest to make,
Mostly through thought, i took me a while to deiced what i wanted to do with this image....
I saw the three men as brothers, who own the land.
I thought there facial expressions looked greedy and somewhat evil.
Plus because its on a map i saw it as land, landlords of a sort...
I scrolled through images to find some old photos of working people, I wanted a variety of people to show the many types of people working on this land.
I also blanked out there eyes, more of  invisible people.
The way it was printed also helped the image, the Main one thats clean and crisp is the man who owns the land currently and the other two are brothers who have either inherited the land or will inherit it...
So i went on to put Dollar signs over his eyes, much like they do in Movies when greedy men get a hold of it...
lastly i added a quote, something to tie it all together

This follower a similar story of the above, The red square shows an infected area,
Where the brothers have moved and poverty stricken people are trying to get away( see underneath image )

This followers from the above image, I hand pointed onwards away from the brothers to better lands

This is last image i will upload of this series, The aim of this one was the spread of the brother, the others have left but his reign over the land spreads. I aimed to make the rings like a radar signal ...
OR you could interpret the image as his reign Falling, his power is weakening over the land, Maybe his brothers have being assassinated and he is the land remaining?

I think the Maps created a greta base for a narrative with ' The brothers three'
